Houston is a different climate than Austin — hotter, wetter, more humid for more of the year. That changes how outdoor AV is specified, how equipment racks are ventilated, and how some materials hold up over time. We take on Houston projects by appointment, with full understanding of the climate considerations involved.
Our Houston work tends to be concentrated in the River Oaks, Memorial, Tanglewood, and The Woodlands markets — homes with the budgets and the design intent to support the kind of integration we do. The work is similar to what we do in Austin in most respects: dedicated theaters with full acoustic treatment, whole-home audio with discreet in-ceiling speakers, Control4 or Savant automation tying everything together, Lutron lighting integration. The differences are in the details: better-sealed outdoor enclosures, more aggressive equipment cooling, careful selection of materials that handle the humidity. We coordinate Houston projects on a focused schedule and bring the same approach — Scott does the consultation, designs the system, oversees the install, and calibrates before walking the homeowner through it. Service is mostly remote after install, with site visits scheduled as needed.
