Bee Cave has grown into one of the most active residential build markets in the Austin area. The homes going up here are designed from the framing stage for integration — structured wiring, automation, lighting control, and audio infrastructure planned alongside HVAC and plumbing. The result is a generation of homes where the smart-home capability is built in, not bolted on.
We work closely with builders and architects in Bee Cave to coordinate pre-wire during construction. Pre-wire is the single most consequential decision in the integration timeline — it's the difference between a home that can be expanded over time and a home that's locked into whatever was installed at move-in. Our pre-wire packages for new construction include speaker locations in every zone the homeowner might want audio (even if speakers aren't installed initially), Cat6 to every room, conduit runs for future video distribution, and lighting control rough-in that lets us install Lutron RA3 or HomeWorks panels later without opening walls. After construction, we come back and complete the install — equipment racks, programming, calibration, and a walkthrough with the homeowner.
